Nature

Guizhou is one of the most beautiful provinces, offering dramatic karst limestone scenery, a spectacular plateau landscape cut by great gorges and canyons, terraced hillsides and enchanting vistas. Its beckoning treasures include Asia's biggest waterfall, China's largest limestone cave, areas of primeval forest, and rare plant and animal species. Terraced crops climb the sides of rolling mountains that eventually stretch out into wide plateaus. These give way to jagged karst hills dotted with giant limestone caves and countless waterfalls plunging to the ground. Gzuihou's landscape is that of traditional Chinese paintings; a delicate beauty of moss-greens and grey-blues. It has great potential for hikers, potholers and nature lovers.
